AMA PRO SUPERBIKE COMPETITOR, DEAN MIZDAL, TO VISIT POMONA BOYS & GIRLS CLUB Racers Who Care spokesracer and American Motorcyclist Association Pro Superbike competitor, Dean Mizdal, is to share with Pomona, CA, Boys & Girls Club members his own personal secrets for meeting and beating life challenges, on January 26, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. Recently described by Cycle World Magazine as having competed in every AMA Superbike race “since time immemorial,” the very competitive Dean Mizdal, also owns and operates, along with partner M’greene, M Racing, a full-service motorcycle tuning, maintenance and performance shop based in Glendora, California. “I question myself all the time: Why do I do this?” he has observed. “Then you get to the racetrack and you remember. I can’t describe what it means to work this hard, to try your hardest, then you beat a certain amount of guys with what you’ve got. There’s nothing else like it.” Widely known as the “AMA Proracing’s most renowned privateer,” as reported by Motorsport.com, “He began riding motorcycles as a pre-teen, and has been racing for [now over 26] years. Being a privateer means having to do the work yourself — from getting to each race to building a fast engine. Mizdal became an expert at crafting engines and building bikes, so he started building them for other riders to fund his career.
