The article states that Corbino, age 27, apparently lost control of the motorcycle he was riding, hit a curb and crashed at approximately 3:00 a.m. local time. Corbino was pronounced dead at the scene. Corbino’s passenger, 22-year-old Jasmine Fraser, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition, according to the article.
After racing as a Pro in Supermoto in 2006 and 2007, Corbino joined AMA Pro Road Racing in 2010 and raced until the 2013 season. Corbino primarily competed in the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson XR1200 class, and in 2012 he finished fourth in the Championship with one podium and six top-five finishes. In 2013, Corbino raced in both the AMA Pro Racing Harley-Davidson XR1200 class and the Triumph Speed Triple Challenge in the British Superbike Championship.
Corbino did not race with AMA Pro Racing in 2014 or with MotoAmerica in 2015.
More information will be reported as it becomes available.
