Jason DiSalvo Launches Ride University

(Talladega, AL) – Jason DiSalvo is announcing the launch of his new riding program, the DiSalvo Ride University. Ride University is the first multi-channel motorcycle learning experience of its kind, combining both at-the-track events with free online courses giving track and street riders alike an in depth resource of practical information and training to improve their motorcycle riding abilities.

“Created by Jason DiSalvo AMA Daytona 200 winner, professional AMA racers, riding instructors and industry executives, this is the first full-featured motorcycle riding university focused on helping anyone interested in learning to ride or advancing their current skills to the next level,” says Greg Heichelbech, contributor to Ride University and past industry executive at Harley-Davidson and Triumph Motorcycles.

Launching with a full 2017 track schedule, Ride University will host events spanning the Southeast at multiple venues and in multiple formats. Along with privately run standalone events at Talladega GP Raceway and JenningsGP, Jason has once again partnered with former sponsor and supporter Richard Harris of Sportbike Track Time to bring the highest quality of on track training to the world’s leading trackday organization. This collaboration will bring the Ride University training experiences to America’s top venues like Barber Motorsports Park, Road Atlanta and more. Joining Jason in track instruction will be former Speed Academy instructor Ryan Haddock and AMA Superbike top privateer finisher Jason Curtis, formerly of No Limit Motorsports.

Ride University is also offering street focused motorcycle training for riders who want to hone and learn the next level of practical skill used by the best riders in the world. This is not track training but transfers skills used in racing to improve your everyday riding experience. The Ride University Street Program will be headed up by Lead Instructor Steve Rigby and Instructor Anna Rigby of Red Spade Racing. Their journey from street riding to the track is known by many people in the social media world, and they’re excited to bring the knowledge and experiences gained to riders looking to improve their skills and find a higher level of safety on their daily rides. The entire 2017 schedule and online courses for Ride University’s Street Program will be forthcoming later this Summer.

Available immediately online at www.rideuniversity.com is the complete Ride University Core Track Curriculum. Spread over 5 courses and 44 lessons, each including video and text based delivery methods, are the cornerstone principals of what Ride University teaches. These FREE online courses make a fantastic primer for riders who are looking to attend any Ride University track event or for those who would like to self-learn at their own track day riding experiences. More courses for the track and street will be added frequently, and riders can discuss the online courses right on the Ride University forums, making it a truly interactive and social learning experience.

Jason DiSalvo – Owner / President / Chief Instructor:

“My hats off and a HUGE thank you to all the amazing people that have come together to make this program a reality. I feel we’ve got all the right people in place to make this school something really special for the motorcycling community.

“The idea of this knowledge and information being out there for riders to access anytime they want for free is really something that motivates me. My hope is for this to become a resource for riders who either WANT to get on the track or WANT to get on a motorcycle but just don’t know how, and don’t know where to start. This can be a great resource to take that next step towards starting your riding journey or advancing your riding skill to the next level with the understanding that you’re being taught the correct techniques to improve your safety and skill when riding.”

Ride University is proudly supported by:
