Former Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC) racer Susanna Schick died this morning in a hospital in Barcelona, Spain.

According to posts by her many friends on social media, Schick had been hospitalized for several weeks with a bacterial infection and later came down with pneumonia. She was released from the hospital and within a day collapsed and stopped breathing. She was revived by paramedics, taken back to the hospital, but did not recover.

Schick raced an Aprilia RS250 with WSMC as recently as 2004 and was featured in a Racers In Real Life article in the June 2001 issue of Roadracing World & Motorcycle Technology.

Schick worked as a fashion consultant and as a journalist. She was passionate about sustainability, motorcycles, cycling, and the color pink.
