Former Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Competitor Racing This Weekend At Catalunya

From a press release issued by Lorenzo Savadori’s publicist: This weekend Lorenzo Savadori will make the first race of the 2008 season at Catalunya. The young rider from Cesena, Italy, with an Aprilia 125GP of the RCGM Team, will participate in the first round of the Road Racing Mediterranean Championship in Spain, a race to be considered as a training for him where will be present lots of the riders that will race in the famous Road racing Spanish Championship this year. Let’s not forget the great results obtained by Lorenzo Savadori in 2007, as the fantastic final second place in the KTM Red Bull Rookies Cup Championship, the pole position in the first Italian Championship race at Mugello and the second position during the last CIV race. Thanks to his determination and experience, the Pitlane rider, this year supported by Red Bull, won’t surely have any problem to show his talent in a race with a lot of fight as there will be more than 50 riders in the practice (44 in the race). The race will be done on Sunday March 16th at 12:30 a.m. and will be long 12 laps.
