Former Superbike World Champion Fogarty Planning Personal Appearances In The U.K.

Foggy fans have the chance to catch up with him at a number of events around the country in the coming months. The first is on Saturday, March 21st in Dunstable, when Carl will be launching the Motorcycle Training Matters project, run by Bedfordshire and Luton Casualty Reduction Partnership, at 12 noon. Then he is the guest of honour at the International Classic MotorCycle Show at the Stafford County Showground, on the 25th and 26th April. And Carl will also be at the Festival of 1000 Bikes, run by the Vintage Motorcycle Club, at Mallory Park on 11th and 12th July. On Saturday 21st March, the Bedfordshire and Luton Casualty Reduction Partnership will launch its new motorcycle training initiative “Motorcycle Training Matters” at Dunstable Community Fire Station, with Carl as special guest. He will join road safety officers, firefighters, police motorcyclists, riding instructors and local dealers at the event to promote all aspects of motorcyclist safety. Bedfordshire Police will be launching their new “Ride Safe” rider assessment scheme and road safety officers from Bedfordshire and Luton will be launching “First Ride” – a brand new course for people to planning to take their Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) within the next few months. Carl said: “Whatever reason you ride – for sport, leisure or to get to and from work – safety should always comes first. And safety is as much about attitude as skills It’s important to keep your bike safe, wear the right protective gear and keep improving your riding skills. But having the right attitude toward safety is where it all starts. That’s the message I want to get across and why I’m really looking forward to joining riders on the 21st in Dunstable.” A number of other appearances are also being planned, so please check this website for more details.
