Team Velocity Racing and Race Concepts Inc. Partner for 2007 Race Season
AUGUSTA, Ga. Team Velocity Racing and Race Concepts Inc. announced today that they are partnering to compete in the 2007 race season, combining Team Velocity Racing’s on-track success and Race Concepts Inc.’s marketing expertise.
Team Velocity Racing (TVR) will return to the WERA National Endurance Series for the 2007 season in this new joint venture with Race Concepts Inc. In addition, the team will be competing in select AMA Pro Racing rounds.
The team sponsors will be managed by Ray Turman and Mason Orr of Race Concepts Inc. while Chuck Ivey of TVR will be responsible for all on-track racing activities.
“This new partnership will allow us to focus on winning another championship,” commented Ivey. “Ray, Mason and Race Concepts Inc. have a lot of experience in marketing and sponsorship acquirement, and it will be an advantage for TVR to be able to concentrate solely on racing.”
Race Concepts Inc. is a sponsor-oriented company that places the advertising and public relations needs of their sponsors first. To keep the team’s performance at an optimum level, Ivey and TVR have joined forces with Race Concepts Inc. to allow TVR to focus solely on trackside and racing details.
TVR and Ivey are the perfect fit for Race Concepts Inc., having won multiple championships including the WERA National Endurance Series overall title in 2005. Ivey founded TVR eight years ago and has established a successful team that has earned the respect and loyalty of sponsors and fans alike.
