Four Americans Will Race In The Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix

U.S. Team Set for Macau: Barnes, Jensen, Miller & Toye to Return Michael Barnes, of Boca Raton, Florida, will ride the Paul Bird Motorsports-sponsored Kawasaki ZX-10R. Michael finished 5th last year and missed being 4th by 0.020 of a second. Scott Jensen, of Denver, Colorado, will make his second trip to Macau and ride the Moto Garage Suzuki GSX-R1000. Scott finished 16th last year. Mark Miller of Long Beach, California will ride the Celtic Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000. Mark DNF last year but has several top-five finishes and a 3rd in 2000. Jeremy Toye, of San Diego, California, will compete on the Lee’s Cycles-sponsored Honda CBR1000RR. Jeremy finished 8th last year and has finished as high as 4th in 2007. The team leaves for Hong Kong on November 14, then will take the Jetfoil to Macau the following day. The 60-mile through-the-streets race will take place on Saturday, November 21.
