Full Schedule Of Off-Track Entertainment, Activities Released For Red Bull Grand Prix Of The Americas

CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS ANNOUNCES ENTERTAINMENT FOR MOTOGP RED BULL GRAND PRIX OF THE AMERICAS

Three-Day Event Features Exhilarating Entertainment Including Live Performance From CHEAP TRICK, Exclusive Evel Knievel Memorabilia Collection, Ducati Island, and More

AUSTIN, TX (APRIL 9, 2015)Circuit of The Americas has released the full schedule of activities and events happening at the track in support of the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas this weekend, April 10 through April 12.

A range of tickets are still available for the incredible weekend of action and entertainment with general admission tickets starting at just $39 for single-day Friday passes and $89 for three-day passes. Great reserved seat tickets and hospitality packages are also still available and start at $59 for single-day Main Grandstand tickets and $139 for three-day Turn 1 and Main Grandstand tickets. One of the best views in world motorsport can be found at COTA’s Turn 15 Grandstand where prices start at just $149. Limited seats are left for the unique view of Turn 12, a primary overtaking area, and Turns 13, 14, and 15.

The MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of The Americas will offer far more than just the exhilarating races as the international event has evolved into a three-day event filled with interactive activities, entertainment, and action for all ages. At Circuit of The Americas’ Grand Plaza, guests will be able to view the world’s largest collection of Evel Knievel memorabilia that will include Knievel’s motorcycles, helmets, riding leathers, never-before-seen photographs and more. Themed bars and interactive promotions from premier sponsors like Crown Royal, Texas Lotto, Topo Chico, Bridgestone, and TxDOT will also decorate the Grand Plaza and fan areas. “Ducati Island,” Ducati’s premier showcase for fans, will feature live music and a stunning display of bikes and interactive promotions in the Grand Plaza.

Additionally, there will be rider autograph sessions on Friday, April 10 as well as motorcycle stunt shows throughout the entire weekend. Following Sunday’s Grand Prix race, all fans are encouraged to invade the track and experience it firsthand as well as enjoy the post-race concert by Cheap Trick at the Austin360 Amphitheater.

To complement the on-track action, all fans will have access to various venues at Circuit of the Americas that are filled with family-friendly activities include the following:

· Grand Plaza:

o The COTA Store will feature not only brand new COTA merchandise but also MotoGP and event merchandise.

o #ShowUsYourLean – Come out and take some pictures showing the famous moto, allowing you to lean like you are a professional MotoGP rider.

· Support Paddock:

o North Side will host a display featuring the newest motorcycle models, including Honda, Suzuki, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, BMW Motorrad, KTM, Yamaha, Victory, and Harley-Davidson.

o South Side will feature vendors selling the latest and greatest motorcycle gear for all moto enthusiasts.

o The Porch is an elevated platform for General Admission ticket holders that is surrounded by the Becks Build-A-Bar and Austin food trucks, making it the best place to hang out and watch amazing racing while indulging in libations and food.

o Yamaha Kids Riding Area – Children, between ages of 4 and 12,will get to experience firsthand how to ride a motorcycle with a professional instructor, and they will be fully suited up and trained on mini motorcycles.

o Demo Rides (support paddock and Turn 1) – Moto enthusiasts will be able to test out the newest range of motorcycles up close and personal. Fans will go through a few tutorials and then take to the back roads near COTA, allowing them to test the new 2015 range of motorcycles. Victory and Harley Davidson will be located at South Side of Support Paddock while Honda, Suzuki and Yamaha will be offered at the North Side of Support Paddock.

· Turn 1:

o Enhanced with activations from Red Bull and Bud Light, Turn 1 is one of the most iconic spots in motorsport to watch the race.

· The Paddock:

o Whole Lotta Lean – This will be a great place to relax for all paddock pass holders with beverages, displays bikes, and a whole lot more.

· Red Bull Experiences

o Red Bull is going to be all around the property providing fans with exciting entertainment through their stunt riders. They will be at various areas of the facility throughout the weekend including the Support Paddock, Grand Plaza, and Turn 1.

MotoGP celebrations continue far beyond the track with the second annual Handbuilt Motorcycle Show, a free custom motorcycle and motorcycle-centric art showcase happening at Fair Market from Friday, April 10 through Sunday, April 12. The event, scheduled to coincide with the 2015 MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas at Circuit of The Americas, will host world-famous custom motorcycle builders such as Roland Sands, Shinya Kimura, and Walt Siegl, and more. For those with a taste for thrills, The American Motordrome “Wall of Death” will again be at this year’s Handbuilt Motorcycle Show.
