On November 10, 2008, Andrew Trevitt, senior editor at Sport Rider magazine, suffered a catastrophic accident involving a car that resulted in multiple fractures and spinal injuries. Andrew has endured four major surgeries, and faces months of rehabilitation. Many have asked what they can do to help. In order to help ease the transition to his new way of life and assist the Trevitt family with the future costs they will inevitably encounter, the “Getwelltrev” fund has been set up by his family and friends. A non-profit/tax deductible application for the fund is currently in process with the IRS. If you wish to contribute now, checks can be made out to Getwelltrev and sent to the following address: Getwelltrev c/o Andrew Trevitt 1119 Linden Ave #2 Glendale CA 91201 Andrew and his family are deeply moved by the support and concern they have received during this difficult time. Our profound thanks and gratitude to all. Editorial Note: Former racer Trevitt has been transferred to a rehab facility where he is learning to live in a wheelchair.
