“Wheels for David Shaverdi’s fight against cancer” Fundraiser kicks off at the February 28th Fastrack Riders Event At Auto Club Speedway

Friction Racing Products owner John Chen and Fastrack Riders new owner Imad Samhat are sponsoring a fundraiser to help our dear friend and fellow rider David Shaverdi in his fight against cancer.

David has been the Operations Manager at Fastrack Riders for the past 10 years. David was diagnosed with liver and stomach cancer on February 12th of this year. The family is looking for the best treatment possible for David. Good medical treatment as we all know comes at a high price.

Fundraising will start at the next Fastrack Riders event on February 28^th at Auto Club Speedway. We will be raffling off a lot of terrific items donated from various people/companies. Specially designed T-shirts and women’s tank tops with all the sponsors logos will be sold for $25 each. Every $50 increment donation will receive 1 raffle ticket. Donations of $100 or more will also receive a free shirt. All proceeds will go directly to the Family.

• Friction Racing Products is donating 4 sets of racing tires (1 set of Dunlop Ntec Slicks, 1 set of D211s, 1 set of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas, 1 set of Diablo Superbike slicks)
• Fastrack Riders is donating 10 free track passes and will match the funds raised with a minimum donation of $2,000 up to an amount that will be determined before Feb 28^th event.
• ACT racing is donating a full custom set of leathers with gloves
• AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes will be donating autographed memorabilia (to be announced at a later date.)
• Babyviva is donating an ergo baby carrier
• PSR is donating bike accessories.
• Other prizes will be added to the list and be announced in later press releases.

Participants can choose which items their raffle tickets are in the drawing(s) for. The raffle will take place on the April 25^th Fastrack Riders event at Auto Club Speedway. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Sponsors can also contact John Chen to have their products added to the prize list above and their logos will be added to the shirts. Shirts will be printed and ready for delivery and sale by the end of March.
