Gerloff On Pole Position For WERA National Challenge 600cc Superstock Race At Summit Point

WERA QUALIFYING FROM ROUND #5 SUMMIT POINT Under sunny skies and temperatures in the 80s the riders of the Michelin/WERA National 600cc Superstock Class took to the track for qualifying. Young gun Garrett Gerloff, on his Suzuki GSX-R600, put down the best time with a 1:13.575, followed by Benny Solis, Jr. on his Yamaha R6 with a 1:13.935 and local Sam Gaige on his Yamaha R6 was third with a 1:14.146. Justin Holderman and Payton Sassaman rounded out the top five. The field is now set for Sunday’s final and looks to be a good, close, competitive race.
