SIGNORELLI WILL NOT RACE AT AMA FINALE Kuryakyn Racing for a Wish Team & Gerry Will Still Display and Sign Autographs at NOLA Motorsports Park Gerry Signorelli has been classified as “Not Fit to Race” by the Kuryakyn Racing for a Wish Team’s orthopedic surgeon. The highly physical demands of motorcycle road racing would cause significant risk of further complications for the broken bone in Signorelli’s foot if he were to race on it in its current condition. This weekend’s AMA Season Finale at NOLA Motorsports Park will mark the first race to be missed due to injury in Signorelli’s professional career. The team is disappointed to have to make this decision after storming into the the Vance & Hines XR1200 Showdown Points Chase with solid performances, but their racer’s health and future career must be take priority in this situation. The Kuryakyn Racing for a Wish Team will still attend the AMA National at NOLA Motorsports Park, display the bike, and Signorelli will sign autographs throughout the weekend. Fans are encouraged to take advantage and come engage with Signorelli as much as possible. It is a great opportunity to find a racer in the element with more time to share. The AMA Fan Walk will take place Saturday October 6th at 12:00pm and Sunday, October 7th at 11:30am. Each Fan Walk will last forty-five minutes and any fan with general admission can walk up and down hot pit to view the race motorcycles up close, meet and chat with the pro riders, and receive free posters and handouts. Head to NOLA Motorsports Park for exciting racing action and show Signorelli and the team your support for them and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado! Gerry Signorelli – “I’m so bummed to end the season with an injury. With the crash I had last week though, I’m fortunate to only have a broken foot and hey after two years on the Harley-Davidson XR1200 beast this is the only time it has kept me down. It’s temporary though and I’m healing fast and motivated to train hard for more success in 2013. The Vance & Hines points chase has proven dramatic with tight standings and drama! There have been more crashes in the last few races by the lead guys than ever before! I really want to express my gratitude for our title sponsor, Kuryakyn as well as all of our support sponsors: California Superbike School, Fast Bike Industries, Held Gloves, Suomy Helmets, EBC Brakes, GMD Computrack, Motorex, Sprinter of Littleton, and Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson. We’ll keep pushing to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Colorado and having fans, friends and family out there who believe in me feels amazing.” Be sure to subscribe to Gerry Signorelli’s and Kuryakyn’s YouTube Channels for short clips of behind the scenes happenings and fun!
