Gino Rea Race Team joins forces with Montaze Broz Racing Team for Moto2 Wildcards Commencing at the Brno GP, Gino Rea Race Team will be joining forces with Montaze Broz Racing Team, a Czech Republic team that currently race in the European Superstock 600 championship. Gino Rea Race Team, nicknamed “GRR8T” will now be known as the Gino Rea Montaze Broz Racing Team. The team will have a brand new design, including bike, leathers, truck and team clothing and will continue to use the FTR Moto2 machine. They intend to race in all of the remaining 5 European Moto2 races, with the next 4 races at Brno, Silverstone, Misano and Aragon already confirmed. Gino had this to say about the new partnership: “I’m very pleased! This has been a difficult year for me and we have attempted things that 99% of people would not do. Running our own team as privateers on a shoe-string budget in arguably the most competitive series in the World is as tough as it gets, but we’ve shown recently that we are capable of being competitive. This has led to us joining forces with Montaze Broz Racing Team and therefore securing the remaining European races for us (as long as we get an entry into Valencia). We will still be using the same FTR Moto2 machine but the whole operation will be a lot more professional, so I hope we can continue our progress with the bike to get it where I want to be. It’s exciting for myself and my team to have someone come on board with us and I really, really want to get a strong result at Brno & Silverstone to kick off our partnership. I’d also like to announce that I have launched my own coffee brand- Gino Rea Coffee. I’m selling Nespresso® compatible coffee capsules that fit all versions of Nespresso® Coffee Machines. They are branded as my own, Gino Rea Coffee; they taste better and are lower priced than any leading brands! All profits will go towards my racing fund (like www.GinoReaClub.com), see here www.GinoReaCoffee.com” Jiri Broz, owner and manager of Montaze Broz Racing Team adds: “In recent weeks we have worked intensely on this project with Gino Rea in the UK. Gino’s private team have taken part in several races this year as a wildcard. Now we have merged our teams and will continue the rest of the journey together this season. We have confirmed races in Brno, Silverstone, Misano and Aragon and we will do our utmost to gain the best possible result. Montaze Broz will help both technically and in operational matters such as private hospitality and team management. Our common goal is to obtain a permanent place in the Grand Prix Moto2 for season 2014.” The next MotoGP race takes place this weekend at Brno, Czech Republic on 23rd-25th August.
