Michelle Lindsay, TOBC Racing Owner, has established a GoFundMe.com account to accept donations to go to the family of fallen MotoAmerica racer Bernat Martinez to help ease the financial burden caused by his passing.

Martinez and Dani Rivas were both killed in a tragic chain-reaction accident at the start of MotoAmerica Superbike/Superstock 1000 Race Two July 19 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

“Several other team owners and individuals involved with MotoAmerica have asked if anything was being done on behalf Bernat Martinez Mas following his tragic death at Laguna Seca on July 19th,” Lindsay wrote in an email to Roadracingworld.com. “Szymon Dziadzia started a similar campaign for Dani Rivas recently. This inspired a similar campaign for Bernat. Thank you to Szymon for leading the way.

“If you are able to share support for Bernat Martinez Mas please do so. R.I.P., Bernat. The donations will go to his loving girlfriend and his family in this trying time.”
