GPtech has been granted a wild card entry for each of the three MotoGP rounds scheduled to take place in America in 2013, according to GPtech owner Geoff Maloney. The three American MotoGP rounds are scheduled for April 19-21 at Circuit of the Americas, in Austin, Texas; July 19-21 at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, in Monterey, California; and August 16-18 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, in Indianapolis, Indiana. GPtech and partner BCL Motorsports designed and built a Suzuki GSX-R1000-powered Claiming Rule Team (CRT) MotoGP racebike and entered it as a wild card at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2012. Aaron Yates rode the bike to 16th place in the Red Bull Indianapolis Grand Prix. Maloney did not provide any further details about his 2013 plans.
