They will be gridded behind those taking advantage of timed practice. Scott Greenwood commented after taking pole in Pro Sportbike and Pro Superbike aboard his Argo Cycle/Dunlop Yamaha; “I went out to get my bearings in the wet. I haven’t had a wet race since last October. Just to get the feel of it in case it’s wet tommorrow”. Rob Nigl remarked after putting his new Max BMW 1000RR on the pole in Pro Superstock; “The bike is better then I thought. It was the first time I’ve ridden it in the rain. We’ve been doing things every week to get a little bit better and make it handle quicker.” Scott Mullin, after putting his Souhegan Valley Cycle on the pole in Pro Thunderbike; “I just wanted to get a clear track and work my hardest at hitting my marks. I wanted to do a couple 24’s. I was able to do 22’s. I want to thank Souhegan Valley Motorsports and Spears Enterprises. They help me a lot. Dunlop and Spectro too.” Dejected Pro Thunderbike favorite, Todd Babcock, after crashing out of a Lightweight Supersport today race aboard his Spears Enterprises Suzuki SV650; “I was following Ricky and a pit-in rider took us a little wide. I just touched Ricky and went down. I may have damaged the plates in my shoulder. We were ready for tomorrow. I have the best machine I’ve ever had. Anytime I need help, Gregg Spears is there. I run his motors, but that’s not all he does. My program has improved every year thanks to Gregg Spears. This really sucks. It’s racing I guess…”
