About halfway through Saturday morning’s AMA Supersport practice five riders crashed in rapid succession at the bottom of the Corkscrew. The crashes were apparently caused by fluid on the track. Among the riders who crashed were: Graves Yamaha’s Josh Herrin, Team M4 EMGO Suzuki’s Martin Cardenas and Celtic Racing Yamaha’s Chaz Davies. All riders were seen walking away from the incident. Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jamie Hacking led the practice with a time of 1:27.465, which is quicker than his teammate Roger Hayden’s lap record of 1:27.496. 2007 Pro Honda Oils AMA Supersport Championship Presented by Shoei Helmets Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca Monterey, California September 15, 2007 Provisional Practice Results: 1.
