Racing Into the New Decade: Hagerty Partners with Thunderhill Raceway Park

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Hagerty, the world’s largest membership, insurance and media organization for enthusiast vehicle owners, today announced a new marketing partnership with Thunderhill Raceway Park to advance their shared goal of keeping car culture alive for future generations.

“This is natural fit for Hagerty,” said Chandler McCallum, senior manager of motorsport marketing. “Thunderhill Raceway is one of America’s finest motorsports complexes and Hagerty has established itself as major force in the motorsports arena.”

Hagerty is well-known in motorsport circles for its innovative motorsports insurance products, including coverage for race cars and motorcycles and HPDE/Track Day insurance. Hagerty also owns the MotorsportReg.com platform, which aims to connect motorsport enthusiasts with opportunities to live their passion on the track. With over 7500 annual events, MotorsportReg is the hub of the motorsport events world.

Thunderhill hosts more than 500 events annually, including the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill, Hooked on Driving’s Derric’s Day, OnGrid for Charity, the Thunderhill Car Control Clinic and many more.

The iconic bridge that overlooks Thunderhill’s back-straight has been renamed “The Hagerty Bridge,” with the company’s mission statement “Never Stop Driving” emblazoned on it. Other Hagerty signs around the park will be a welcome reminder to visit Hagerty.com for track insurance and Motorsportreg.com to register for great events coming up at Thunderhill Raceway Park.
