AMA Superbike and Superstock racer John Haner has signed on Rock Star energy drink as a new personal sponsor. Haner, who rides for Millennium KWS Suzuki, will feature Rockstar’s logo on the chin bar of a custom-painted HJC helmet and will work out of a 44-foot motorhome displaying Rockstar graphics this weekend at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. “Rockstar just wanted to get their foot in the door of road racing before they come in big next year,” Haner told Roadracingworld.com via cell phone while driving to Laguna Seca. “So come on by and say, ‘Hi,’ and grab a poster.” Haner also reported that his injured right shoulder (suffered in a crash at Barber Motorsports Park in April) is back to 100% strength.
