Young rookie rider, Peter Hickman was on a mission at Darley, after setting pole position in front of his fellow team-mates Hutchinson and Coxhell he also went faster than Road Racers John McGuinness and Ian Lougher. Eager for a good result Hickman set the first ever 100mph lap around the small circuit much to the delight of the crowd. 23-year-old Craig Coxhell scored two fourth places in the two races. The Darley Moor team once again put on a superb and successful meeting and thanks to them all for their hard work and effort.
