Later he was the man that created the Honda of Troy team that eventually became Yamaha of Troy in 1999. Their roster of riders was impressive and they are considered to be the first satellite team for the motorcycle manufacturers in the U.S. Riders like Erik Kehoe, Stephane Roncada, Ernesto Fonseca, and Chad Reed all raced under Alderton’s canopy. In 2004 however, Phil went through some dark times personally and left the sport. Now he is back as Team Manager for Honda of Troy and they are ramping up to compete in the East Coast Supercross Series. www.yamahaoftroy.com Jayme Dalsing, Director of Operations – Arenacross This is the 28th year the Arenacross series has been running. Kearney made his way over to the U.S. and caught the attention of Rodney Smith. Known as one of the hardest workers in the series with an intense training routine, Kearney has fought his way to the top on his Husqvarna. In 2010 he finished sixth overall with two podiums (2nd and 3rd) in the XC1 class. www.gnccracing.com/pages/gncc-racer-profiles/glenn-kearney- Shane Watts, World Enduro, GNCC Champion – Academy of Off Road Riding The legendary off-road racer and instructor just released a new instructional video – Dirtwise 2.
