Kailub Russell – Pro XC1 GNCC Racer, FMF KTM Team Kailub is in his rookie year in the XC1 class but that hasn’t stopped this XC2 champion from already getting on the podium and working his way into the top six in the overall standings. He just moved up to the big bikes after winning the 2009 and 2010 GNCC XC2 Championships. Despite a mechanical issue at Round 1 and a health issue at Round 2, Russell has shown that it won’t be long before he is fighting for the top spot on the podium in the XC1 class. www.kailubrussell.com Teddy Maier – Canadian Motocross racer, Leading Edge Kawasaki Teddy has been a top rider in the Canadian Motocross Championship MX2 series for the last few years. He even won the MX2 championship in 2009 and was runner up in 2010. This year he has made the jump to the MX1 class on the 450. The season kicked off this past weekend at Kamloops, BC at Whispering Pines Raceway and Maier, making his MX1 debut a successful one, finished 4th overall. www.leadingedgeraceteam.com Mark Kalpakoff – Bermcannon Marketing/WORCS/AP Brakes/Pro-xAfter being fired as a trashman in L.A. and not being able to successfully sweep the floors at L.A. Sleeve, Mark was then re-located to the marketing department for Pro-X Pistons. However, for the last 10 years, Mark has built his motorcycle marketing firm called Bermcannon Marketing where he consults, builds brands, and manages many companies such as APBrakes, Pro-X Pistons, and athletes such as Bobby Garrison. www.bermcannon.com Roger Hayden – AMA Pro Superbike Racer, After spending a difficult 2010 season with the privateer Pedercini Kawasaki World Superbike team, the 2007 AMA Pro Supersport Champion (who’s also impressed in MotoGP wildcard appearances) returned to the AMA Pro paddock to join forces with the Jordan Motorsports crew. For 2011, he’s competing in National Guard SuperBike aboard the National Guard Jordan Suzuki #54 machine. This past weekend at Road America he secured another 5th place finish on Sunday and 6th on Saturday. His last four races indicate that he is getting very comfortable on the National Guard Suzuki. Rog is currently in 7th overall in the series. www.23race.com Chris Fillmore – AMA Pro XR1200 Racer, RMR Bruce Rossmeyer Daytona Racing Fillmore has been on the podium in each of the 2011 XR1200 races so far in 2011. This past weekend at Road America he finished in first overall even after running wide on one of the turns during the race. He finished the season last year in 10th overall in the Daytona Sportbike class and in 2009 he was 17th in the series.
