Danny Eslick – Daytona Sportbike Racer, RMR Geico Bruce Rossmeyer Daytona Racing Team Danny is coming off another strong finish in the Daytona Sportbike class at Elkhart Lake. He is 4th in the DSB standings and 6th in the XR1200 standings after racing only a few races in the XR1200 class this season. In 2010 he won the XR1200 Championship and came in second in the DSB class after a heated battle with Cardenas and Herrin. At Elkhart Lake he finished on his Latus Motors Racing Triumph in 2nd place on Sunday’s race which was a west coast round. He is in 3rd in the east coast series and heading into another set of east coast races this weekend at Barber Motorsports Park. In 2009 he won a race at Auto Club Speedway and finished 2nd in Topeka, Kansas. Not only did he win his first ever AMA National Championship; the National Enduro title, but he also was married and voted AMA Racing Athlete of the Year. 2011 is his first year on the Factory KTM team and he sits only 2 points behind the leader in the GNCC XC 1 class, Josh Strang.
