Mike Alessi, 450 Supercross – MotoConcepts Racing Shortly after the Monster Energy Cup last fall MotoConcepts and Alessi Racing made the official announcement they were joining forces. This Supercross season has proved that marriage to be a successful one as Mike has logged solid finishes throughout the year. Currently he is 9th in the points standings with 6 races left. Last weekend at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis he led several laps of the main event before he experienced some trouble to finish an eventual 6th. www.alessiracing.com Blake Wharton, 250 East Coast Lites – Rockstar Energy Suzuki At the Indianapolis Supercross last Saturday night, Blake won his first main event since 2009. In a bizarre turn of events the race was red flagged after a rider was downed and they chose to do a staggered re-start. Blake re-started in 3rd and made quick work of passing Blake Baggett for second. Only Ken Roczen stood in the way of Wharton winning and he was closing in on the German rider. Roczen then went down and Wharton took over. He put his head down and finished a very strong race for the win ending Justin Barcia’s East Coast win streak. Wharton sits in 3rd in the East Coast Lites points, just one point behind second. www.suzukicycles.com/Racing/Motocross/TeamSuzuki/RockstarEnergy/Wharton.aspx Marty Graver, Owner – Brap Off-Road Marty is the owner of Brap Off-Road an importer, wholesaler and retailer of off-road specialty products. In addition to his Superbike Championships, Hayes also holds the 2006 and 2007 Formula Extreme Championships and the 2003 Superstock Championship. www.joshhayesracing.com Greg Heichelbech – CEO, Triumph North America Greg Heichelbech came very close to celebrating a Daytona 200 win this past weekend, clinching second place with team rider Jason DiSalvo.
