George Latus, Team Owner – Latus Motors Racing (Will Announce 2012 AMA Season Plans on Pit Pass Radio Show Live Tonight) Latus formed Latus Motors Racing as a team owner in 2009, competing in AMA Daytona Sportbike on a Buell 1125R with Taylor Knapp as rider. In 2010 they were back in Daytona Sportbike on a Ducati 848 with Steve Rapp finishing 4th. In the 2011 season they signed Jason DiSalvo. After a timely misfortune at Daytona,DiSalvo and the team went on to win the Daytona 200 and followed that up with a double win at Infineon finishing the season out 4th. The team also added a new rider in the Supersport class with Dustin Dominguez riding a Triumph 675R. Dustin finished the East Coast Supersport Series in 4th, earning Triumph their first AMA win since 1999. The team competed in the XR 1200 class with Chase McFarland, Joe Kopp, and appearance and podium at Indy for DiSalvo. Team Latus also partnered up with Triumph, RSRacecraft and Joe Kopp to campaign a Speed Triple in the Race for the Clouds up the historical mountain at Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb. Joe was the first to break the current record and finished with the 2nd fastest time up the mountain. Latus has been an H-D dealer for 26 years and have been in the motorcycle industry for about 40 years. www.teamlatus.com Tommy Aquino, Daytona Sportbike Racer – Graves Motorsports Yamaha Team Tommy had another solid year in the Daytona Sportbike class with his best overall DSB series finish of third. A strong competitor, he was consistently in the top ten with three podiums this season. He even picked up a win at the second to last round of the year. Tommy is known for his talented riding and sense of humor. So far he is one of the only riders to walk away unharmed after ghost riding his bike down the finish line straight at NJMP. www.tommyaquino24.com Bob Lowry, National Sales and Marketing Manager – Fly Racing Lowry has spent his entire working life in the moto industry. From 1995 – 2009 he worked with Scott USA Motosport as a division manager. In 2010, he became the Fly Racing National sales and marketing manager.
