In 2006, he won the AMA Ricky Graham Rookie of the year award. In 2007 he rode for team Memphis Shades/Yamaha and won his first Grand National race in his home state at the Castle Rock, Washington TT. In 2008 he started his own racing team and finished 5th place in the GNC Twins Championship and in 2009 he won the overall Grand National Championship. For 2011 he finished first in the GNC Expert Singles class with three wins and third in the Expert Twins class with one win.
