Pit Pass Motorcycle Talk Show Aaron Yates, Adam Schomer, Larry Little, Broc Tickle, Rory O’Neill, Ryan Hughes Advance, North Carolina (September 4, 2012) – Top talent and industry insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories. Aaron Yates, Superbike Racer Yates a former Superbike factory rider and nine-time AMA Superbike race winner has been out of racing since he sustained a serious leg injury back in 2010 at Fontana. The healing process has been long and slow for Yates but he is back riding. He recently raced a CRT bike at the Indy MotoGP and placed 16th on his GP Tech bike. There are also rumors that he might be racing again in the AMA Pro Series at some select events in the Superbike class. www.facebook.com/#!/aaron.yates.944 Adam Schomer, Rider, Writer, Producer – The Highest Pass The Highest Pass (a feature length documentary, just out nationwide on DVD and VOD platforms)Adam Schomer meets a modern guru, Anand Mehrotra, and they plan a motorcycle expedition on some of the most dangerous roads in the world – the highest passes of the Himalayas in Northern India. They convince a team of seven intrepid souls to join them and share in what will surely become a journey of a lifetime. These riders are guided by the inspired teachings of Anand, who himself bears the burden of a Vedic prophecy that predicts he will die in his late twenties in an accident. He is that age when he leads the group with fearlessness and wisdom reminding them that, “Only the ones who dies, truly lives.” Over 21 days and up to an elevation of 18,000 feet along a winding road, they never let low oxygen, altitude sickness, river-flooded roads, icy edges, snow and loaded trucks dampen their spirits or, ultimately, their deeper selves. www.hulu.com/watch/376934 Larry Little, VP and General Manager, Motorcycle Group – Marketplace Events Larry is leading the team that will launch the American International Motorcycle Expo – the AIMExpo – in October 2013 in Orlando, FL. For nearly two years he has been involved in bringing the concept of a big European styled show for both trade and consumers to the North American marketplace. His industry experience includes 29 years at Cycle World magazine, the majority as publisher. He is an elected member of the Motorcycle Industry Council’s board of directors, and has served as the board’s chairman for the past 9 years. A lifelong motorcyclist, he particularly enjoys adventure and off-road riding. www.AIMExpoUSA.com Broc Tickle, 450 Motocross- Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki After winning the 2011 Supercross Lites West Championship Broc had “pointed” out in the 250 class. His contract wasn’t up with the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki team (which has always been a 250 only team) so they went to work to create a 450 program to keep him racing under the Pro Circuit banner. Overall he’s had a solid year on the 450, especially in Outdoors with second place overall finishes at Budds Creek and Unadilla. In Supercross he finished 9th in points and with one round remaining in the Outdoor Nationals he sits 5th in the Championship series. www.broctickle.com Rory O’Neill, Team Founder – Team International Air Hammer Rory was born in Dublin, Ireland and was a huge motocross fanatic. His dream was to move to the U.S. and race motorcycles so he did just that when he was 19 years old. Now in his 30’s he works for Performance Tire which is the race distributor for Bridgestone Tires. Rory gets to travel to many of the professional and amateur motorcycle events around the country. He’s become known for his vintage motorcycle collection and with the help of some buddies he’s decided to race the Vintage/Vets Motocross of Nations in Farleigh Castle, England this mid September. www.facebook.com/groups/460589127303508/ Ryan Hughes, Owner – RynoPower, RynoInstitute and RynoPowerGym Ryan Hughes has been racing professionally in the motocross industry since 1988.
