Mike Alessi, 450 Supercross/Motocross – MotoConcepts Racing
This Supercross season was a big year for Mike as he won his first ever 450 Heat Race. He’s stayed fairly solid throughout the season and sits 13th in points after scoring 10th in the Seattle main event last week. Rumors have been circling about him racing in Canada this summer and it appears to be true. According to Tony Alessi, Mike’s father, the team will compete at the opening round of the AMA Outdoor nationals and then head North to race at the opening round of the Canadian series in Nanaimo.
Chris Blose, 450 Supercross – Privateer
Blose has been on some really good teams in the past. He’s a solid main event rider but wasn’t fortunate enough to get a ride this season. He’s now a true privateer in every sense of the word and even started the season out on a 2012 Honda. At some of the rounds he’s had a mechanic help him from the local dealership. Chris’s results continue to improve and he finished 12th in Seattle.

DirtWise is an offroad school and they also offer instructional DVD’s. In addition, Shane operates a pro GNCC team; Maxxis/KLIM/DirtWise KTM with Jason Thomas, Jesse Groemm, and Rory Mead. At the Morganton, North Carolina round Rory had a nasty crash that resulted in spinal cord damage. The GNCC nation has gotten together to offer a fundraising effort with a raffle and an online pro rider jersey auction.

Jake Johnson, Flat Track Racer – Ramspur Winery, Lloyd Brothers Motorsports, Parkinson Bros Team
After the opening Round in Daytona, Johnson is in 2nd place in the GNC Combined standings. He scored a 10th on the first day and 2nd on day two. He finished the 2013 season in 7th overall in the GNC Combined ranking with an 8th in the Expert Twins and 9thin the Expert Singles.
Chris Fillmore, AMA Pro Superbike – KTM HMC Racing
Fillmore is currently tied in points with Martin Cardenas after the Daytona opener for the 2014 season. He finished a very consistent 6th in both races. In 2013 he finished 7th overall with three top five finishes. A two-time AMA Pro Supermoto Champion, Fillmore won the 2011 AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series championship.
Kyle Wyman, Millennium Technologies Racing
Wyman was off to a great start for 2014 after winning the first race in the XR1200 Series and placing 6th in the Daytona 200, but now he finds himself disqualified after a puzzling series of events. According to his recent statement he was required to provide AMA with motor parts from his XR1200 and after 11 days he was cleared for the win. Now AMA Pro Racing is claiming the cylinder was not compliant. In 2013 he finished 22nd in the Daytona SportBike class and 18th in the XR1200 class.
