Mike Alessi, Cole Seely, Dennis Stapleton, Roger Hayden, Jake Shoemaker
Advance, North Carolina (August 26, 2014) – Motorcycle racers, business owners and insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern. Listen live at www.pitpassmoto.com
Mike Alessi, MX1 Canadian Nationals- MotoConcepts Racing Smartop
It was a big surprise when we learned that the entire MotoConcepts team would compete at the Canadian Motocross Nationals instead of here in the U.S. Mike had a successful season North of the border and although he lead the most laps, pulled several holeshots, qualified first in all but two races, and won five overalls, he finished second in the series. Some bad luck including a smashed head pipe and running out of gas kept him from realizing his goal of a number one plate. He joins us to reflect on the season.
Cole Seely, Motocross Racer – Muscle Milk Honda
Seely finished 2nd overall in the 250 Supercross West Championship and 8th overall in the Lucas Oil 250 Motocross Championship. He turned pro in 2009 and signed with the Troy Lee Designs Team. He picked up some 250 supercross wins since starting in 2009. He was a substitute rider for the Honda 450 a few times during the 2014 season. In 2015 he will be teamed up full time with Trey Canard racing for Honda in the 450 class.

Dennis Stapleton, Test Rider- Motocross Action Magazine
Based out of Southern California, Stapleton stays busy with his variety of hats he wears in the industry. For almost ten years he’s been a test rider at Motocross Action and has been featured on the cover over 25 times. He also builds project bikes for a couple magazines as well as hosts a motocross camp. With all that he still manages to represent Wiseco at different events and races overseas from time to time.
Roger Hayden, AMA Pro SuperBike Racer – Yoshimura Suzuki
As the 2014 season winds down to a close, Hayden sits in 3rd overall with six podiums, but no wins yet. The final round of the seven round series will take place in New Jersey at the Kawasaki Devil’s Showdown, September 13 and 14. Hayden placed 4th overall last year in the AMA Pro SuperBike class and 3rd overall in 2012. He won the 2007 SuperSport Championship

Shoemaker recently placed 2nd at Colonial Downs in New Kent Virginia. His current standings have him 11th in the Twins class and 19th in the Singles. 2013 was a breakout year for Jake as he earned his national number 55 by placing second at Hagerstown and won the Saddlemen Rookie of the Year Award.
