TONIGHT ON PIT PASS MOTO
Ryan Dungey, Chris Blose, Johnny Moore, Roger Hayden, Jake Lewis
Advance, North Carolina (February 3, 2015) – Motorcycle racers, business owners and insiders from the motorcycle world give their uncut opinions and stories every Tuesday at 8 pm eastern. Listen live at www.pitpassmoto.com
Ryan Dungey, 450 Supercross – Red Bull KTM
Heading into Anaheim 3 (round 5 of the Monster Energy Supercross series) Dungey had the points lead due to his consistency but hadn’t scored a main event win. He changed that and extended his points lead when he qualified fastest, won his heat, and got his first main event win of 2015.
Chris Blose, Arenacross – Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki
The AMSOIL Arenacross series is still enjoying near record turn-outs this season and much of that has to do with the star power they have lining up to race each week. Blose is a first year Arenacross Class competitor and this weekend inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville he had a perfect night sweeping both Main Events in addition to winning the RMATV/MC Head 2 Head Challenge. He’s had some rough luck this year already but he has more main event wins than the rest of the field so far. He’s currently fourth in points.
Johnny Moore, 2X Arenacross Tour Champion
Over the summer we watched Johnny qualify for all the rounds in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship except for the mud bath in Indiana. This winter he’s again racing the Motosport.com Arenacross Tour that spans throughout Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Currently he’s sitting 3rd in points with 1 round remaining.
Roger Hayden, SuperBike Racer – Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing
Hayden wrapped up the 2014 AMA Pro SuperBike season in 2nd overall. His season included eight podiums and one win. In 2013 he finished 4th overall in the SuperBike class. He is preparing to race in the MotoAmerica Series with the Yoshimura Team for 2015. He recently signed a two-year deal.
Jake Lewis, SuperBike Racer – Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing
Lewis will be Roger Hayden’s teammate for the 2015 season racing for Yoshimura Suzuki. The 2013 Rookie of the Year finished 2nd overall in 2014 in the Daytona SportBike class. His 2014 season included two wins and four podiums. Lewis counts a SuperSport Championship among his accomplishments, he was also the 2011 AMA Horizon Award winner.
