On May 23, Josh Herrin turned 16, the minimum age to ride in an AMA Pro Racing road race, and the Dublin, Georgia resident will make his AMA professional racing debut this weekend at Road America. “I’m just getting ready for the weekend, trying to learn the track,” Herrin told Roadracingworld.com Thursday during a break in the promoter practice day. “I’m not really feeling any pressure. I’m just going to ride how I want.” Herrin, the 2005 C Superbike WERA National Challenge Series Champion, hopes to finish in the top five of the AMA Supersport race this weekend on his Graves Yamaha YZF-R6.
