Himmelmann Fastest In FIM ePower Qualifying At Magny Cours

FIM e-Power International Championship at Magny Cours Matthias Himmelmann (Münch Team) dominates the practice sessions Matthias HIimmelmann (Germany) has largely dominated the first qualifying session of the 4th round of the FIM e Power International Championship, at Magny Cours (FRA). Matthias completed his fastest lap in front of Stefano Scrocchi, his new teammate and Belgian rider, Thijs De Ridder of Team Crystalyte Europe. De Ridder, who burned one of his engines at the end of the session, is not sure if he can continue his race weekend. Thomas Betti, at present the e Power International Championship leader, finished in fourth position on the provisional starting grid and should be able to defend his chances to obtain the title. The second qualifying session will be held on Friday at 09h00 and the start of the race over seven laps, will be given at 18h00.
