The HMC KTM Race Team plans to contest the entire 2012 AMA Pro Superbike Championship, according to Team Owner Mitch Hansen.

“We’ve already received word from KTM in Austria that we’re definitely going racing and doing the whole AMA schedule next year,” Hansen told Roadracingworld.com Friday on pit lane at New Jersey Motorsports Park. “Right now, it’s just one rider, but things could change. So there is the possibility of adding a second rider.”

Asked if current rider Chris Fillmore would continue with the team in 2012, Hansen said, “I hope so, yeah. That’s my wish.”
