American Honda tested last Tuesday and Wednesday at Daytona International Speedway, with rider Neil Hodgson making laps on a 2007 CBR1000RR Superbike and on a Daytona 200-spec CBR600RR. Plans call for Hodgson to compete next March in the AMA Superbike race at Daytona as well as in the Daytona 200 race, which is run under AMA Formula Xtreme rules. Airfence deployed during the American Honda test was supplied by the Roadracing World Action Fund, held over from its deployment at last weekend’s combined MOTO-ST/CCS/ASRA event. The Airfence was attended to by a CCS/ASRA crew.
