To mark the 30th anniversary of Joey’s Dunlop first Isle of Man TT win with Honda, his former team-mate and Honda TT Legends rider John McGuinness contested the Isle of Man TT Superbike race in tribute Dunlop livery. The iconic red and black Joey Dunlop/Honda Britain design adorning the Honda TT Legends CBR1000RR Fireblade and McGuinness’s leathers was based on that worn by Dunlop in his final Isle of Man TT in 2000. In the video, team manager Neil Tuxworth explains the project and McGuinness himself reflects on the honour of paying tribute to his road racing hero.
