More, from a press release issued by North Texas Superbikes: North Texas Superbikes and Dunlop N-Tec riders find the golden Easter egg. North Texas Superbikes and Dunlop supported riders crushed the competition at this Easter weekend’s Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association’s event in Cresson, TX, which included the 1st round of the CMRA Endurance series. North Texas Superbikes teams and riders won 3 of 5 classes in the 4 hour endurance race, 13 of 20 Expert sprint races, and 8 of 12 Novice races, almost 70% of all the races combined. Dunlop’s newest N-Tec tires were thoroughly tested during the CMRA’s first 4 hour endurance race at a track that consistently brutalizes tires and makes setup difficult. All three winning teams used one set of Dunlop N-Tec’s for the entire race. Newly formed Moto Ace Racing, which includes Dickie McFarland, Joe Prussiano, Corey Burleson, Derek Wagnon, and Scott Foster, stretched a 2 lap lead into an overall victory and the individual SBCE win. “The tires were flawless,” said McFarland. “They stayed consistent the entire race.” Double D Express teammates Danny Dominguez, Dustin Dominguez, Darnell Dorsey, and Craig Clark, charged back from a significant deficit to take 3rd overall and 1st in the F1E class. WFO!!!Komodo riders Wayne Wilder, Ricky Jordan, Van Blaylock, and Ottis “Otter” Lance ran an uneventful race, and won the SSAE by more than 4 laps. “The D211’s were phenomenal,” chimed team owner Wayne Wilder. “This was our first race on the D.O.T.s and they worked great.” In Expert sprint competition Ty Howard set a blazing pace on N-Tec D211’s and new N-Tec 7 series slicks, winning 5 for 5, F1, A STK, B STK, C STK, C SBK, and almost bettering his current track record. He was unable when his GSXR1000’s rear shock broke on the 3rd lap making it hard to keep on the track. “I could have done it no problem, these slicks are insane,” quipped TY. “I couldn’t spin them, not at all!” His 1st flying lap was just 10ths off his previous record. Young gun Dustin Dominguez had another stellar weekend on the N-Tec’s winning 4 races, D STK, B SBK, D SBK, F2, and getting faster as the weekend progressed. “This bike is completely stock, wait till we get some suspension,” said Dominquez. “Those tires, man, they’re sick.” Lloyd Worrell on the Rockwall Honda RS125 took 2 wins in LW Twins and 125GP, with Van Blaylock on a NTSB prepared Ducati 1098S won Heavyweight twins, also on the new N-Tech 7 series slicks.
