Imola 200 Starts 2002 Endurance World Championship

According to a press release issued by series promoter Octagon Motorsports, the 2002 Endurance World Championship Series will open April 28 at Imola, and will include a 200-mile Endurance World Championship race along with Italian National Superbike, Supersport, Stocksport, 250cc GP and 125cc GP races.

The event weekend is expected to draw about 350 riders, according to the release.
