This just in from Jason Pridmore, via text message to the editor:

The outpouring of support I’ve received has been incredible. I want to thank everyone for their messages.

I’m bummed I wasn’t able to contribute to team USA’s point total after getting caught out in a strange 1st-race accident.

Currently I’m in hospital in Melbourne awaiting a 2nd surgery on my leg. Big thanks to all my teammates for reaching out to me and doing a great job over the weekend. Hopefully we can come back in 2020 and try to win the overall team championship and the Phillip Island Classic!
