EvanSteelPerformance.com BMW race team with rider Jake Holden welcomes back sponsors Evan Steel Performance is proud to announce the return of Iron Horse Motorcycles, in Tucson, AZ, to the team for the upcoming race season. We are very happy to have John Cartwright and the Iron Horse boys back for 2012. Evan Steel: “We are stoked to have John Cartwright back with the team for 2012. He is actually the reason we started racing BMW’s monster S1000RR in the first place. It is a great fit. John and his crew at Iron Horse run a great dealership and help us out a lot with BMW information, parts and know how. They have been doing it for a long time and are a great addition to the team. They really know their stuff when it comes to BMW. We are thrilled to have them back for more in 2012! It is a lot of fun to have John around too, and we hope to get him to race at some of the regional stuff with us again this year. Last time out he won some trophies for the team at a CCS event at the end of 2011. I’m hoping to see more of that as well! ” John Cartwright: “I could not be more excited to have the boys back together again with Jake Holden in the saddle of the BMW S1000RR. The BMW is the best stock sportbike on the planet, but as the BMW factory World Superbike Team knows, R&D is critical to being at the front of the pack when racing at the highest level of the sport. I am confident that Jake will be able to help ESP/Iron Horse BMW’s S1000RR make huge strides toward the front at every race we enter this year. Evan Steel, Phil Allison and Dave Cieliski are an amazing crew. They can do more with a little than most with a lot!! We hope everyone will be behind Jake Holden and the ESP/Iron Horse BMW and maybe we can get BMW or another sponsor to help us compete at every AMA round in 2012. Hope to see you at the races” The team would also like to thank U.S. Mega-Max.com, Intuition, Kurvey Girl, Carrozzeria USA, OTL magazine, Ohlins, XCEL Trackdays, GPR, Driven, Leo Vince, Sidi, Shoei and Hotbodies for their continued support, and welcome Ballistik Apparel, War Paint by Steve Wellman, and GB Racing onto the team. We are currently finalizing other partnerships as well, and they will be announced when completed. We sincerely want to thank all of our fans, friends, local companies, customers, sponsors and supporters who have been so generous and helpful over the off season, thanks for all of the help, we couldn’t do it without you! The team is still seeking funding in order to attend the entire AMA season, interested parties can contact [email protected]
