Unlike any other event in the world; the annual Isle of Man TT is arguably one of the most well-known road races out there. With riders of all categories topping speeds of over 100mph, 110mph — even 130mph – on closed public roads — the route twists through mountains, fields and towns; offering one of the most awesome motorsport viewing experiences on the planet. This year, our guys John McGuinness, William Dunlop and Conor Cummins rode their hearts out, taking podiums all over, ending in a very special win for the Morecambe Missile himself: his 20th on the TT top step. We spoke to the fans, the riders and a couple of special guests on the island to find out exactly what keeps them coming back every year.
