Jeremy Toye continued his stranglehold on the Toyota Cup Unlimited Formula One class with the Willow Springs Motorcycle Club this weekend, notching his sixth win of the year in the club’s headlining class at Willow Springs International Raceway, while Jason Perez won four races and came up exactly one position short of winning five.

Riding his Dunlop-shod, Lee’s Cycle-prepped Suzuki GSX-R1000, Toye crossed the line second behind Perez on the first lap of the 12-lap main event, then passed Perez and led every other lap en route to a 7.8-second margin of victory.

In hot, occasionally breezy conditions, Toye’s best lap was a 1:22.155.

Yamaha YZF-R1-mounted Perez took second by four seconds over Suzuki GSX-R1000 rider Jeff Stern. Karl Lowry and Robbie Dowie battled for fourth, with Lowry taking the spot by less than two seconds, with Jack Pfeifer rounding out the top six.

Perez was dominant in his other races of the day, taking four wins, including the Sport Tire Services 600cc Superstock race, Fastrack Riders Open Superbike race, Track Daz 650 Superbike race and the Duke 22 Photography/Advanced Kawasaki Open Superstock event.
