Ashburn, VA – Jake Holden and his crew received some unfortunate news last week, Team Owner Robbie Roberson was pulling out of his commitment to the team. The news was devastating to Jake and the entire crew, but without a solid financial sponsorship program, Roberson just couldn’t personally fund the team anymore. The remaining members of the team got together and decided to do everything they could to keep racing in 2011 and try to help Jake achieve his goal of winning the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Championship. After receiving numerous emails from potential investors to Jake’s management group (WithOut Ego Media) the team has committed to racing the next round at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California, next weekend for Round 2 of the AMA Pro Racing season. The team will race under Jake Holden Racing for the remainder of the season. “Some of our existing sponsors have really stepped up to make this happen for us,” states [Breeann] Poland, interim Team Owner. “Without Robbie giving us the bikes, parts and equipment there was no way this could happen.” The team is still searching for potential investors and sponsors to help Jake’s championship hopes stay alive. “I want to thank my management group WithOut Ego Media and all the people who have really stepped up to make this happen,” says Holden. “Infineon is my home track and I have had great results there in the past. I really think I can get on the podium this weekend. Maybe this will make sponsors who are still considering linking up with our team take that final step and make things happen.” Please feel free to contact Breeann Poland at [email protected] or click the link below to donate directly to Jake’s Racing fund. ~http://www.withoutegomedia.com/#/support-jake~ For more information on WithOut Ego Media check out their website: www.withoutegomedia.com
