Rispoli makes strong Spanish debut with Quattro Plant FS-3 Kawasaki

James Rispoli kicked off his Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship campaign this week in Spain, completing a positive first test with the Quattro Plant FS3 Kawasaki team at Cartagena.

The American contender completed two days on track ahead of the next official test at Donington Park later this month, working together with the team to overcome some initial issues to end the test feeling confident of his pace and now eager to return to the UK ahead of the opening round.

Rispoli said: “I was really stoked with how this test has gone, especially the second day we had yesterday. On day one we had some bugs to work out with the brand new Zx-10RR, but then we really got stuck in and made a lot of progress with the electronics. The team have really worked hard here to get the bike more consistent for the new 50-mile races we have in the championship this year.

“We leave this test with a really good base setting to work from and a lot useful data for the team to look at and make adjustments ready for when we have our next test at Donington Park.”
