HOLLAND, Mich. (June 22, 2016) — This weekend Riders Discount/Tuned Racing is heading to Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, Utah for round six of the Superstock 600 Championship. Rider Bryce Prince was successful in Utah last year, taking the third spot on the podium for both races. Prince currently carries a 93 point championship lead.
“I am very excited to be heading to Utah this weekend,” said Prince. “Utah has been one of my favorite tracks throughout the years. I love the big flowing corners the track has, it really suits my riding style. We are looking forward to bringing home more good results and further our points lead! We have the chance to clinch the title this weekend, so we are going to work hard to be up front!”
Jason Aguilar suffered a highside in the previous round during Friday’s free practice two, causing a broken foot and severe hip bruising. Despite his injuries, Aguilar is getting back on the bike and will try to race in Utah.
“Heading to Utah Motorsports Campus, I’m really excited to get back on my bike and race,” said Aguilar. “I unfortunately had to miss Barber due to a broken foot sustained in free practice two. I haven’t had surgery on my foot yet, so I plan on trying to race this weekend as long as I’m not in too much pain. My team always puts a great bike underneath me and I’m hoping to be back in the top three group this weekend. Big thanks to my team and sponsors for making this possible!”

Stage set for Utah round of MotoAmerica for Millennium Technologies/KWR
SALT LAKE CITY (June 22) — The stage is set for round seven of the 2016 MotoAmerica series as the KWR team heads to Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, Utah. The Millennium Technologies-sponsored Wyman brothers have enjoyed success at the 3.048-mile road course, which is now under new ownership.
The week started with older brother Kyle participating in television and radio interviews as part of a Salt Lake City media tour. Segments were conducted on KTVX-4 ABC, KSTU-13 FOX, Park City TV, ALT 101.9 KHTB, and 101.1 KBER.
“Utah Motorsports Campus is a joy to ride,” said Wyman, when interviewed by KTVX Sports Anchor Dana Greene. “It’s one of my favorite tracks on the schedule. I can’t wait to swing a leg back over my R1 this weekend. The weather looks great and I’m excited for our team and the fans.”
Coming off his season-best finishes at Barber Motorsports Park, Wyman is looking to climb the ladder yet again in Utah. In addition to his regular MotoAmerica Superbike races on Saturday, he will also compete in the “Rhino Tools Superbike Challenge.” The 12-lap exhibition race will be held between MotoAmerica Superbike races and is paying a cash purse to it’s top finishers.
“I’m looking forward to another tough weekend in the heat, but a dry heat this time, contrary to Barber,” Wyman added. “With three races for me on Saturday, fitness is going to be key but I am looking forward to the challenge. As for the exhibition race, my goal really is to just have fun with it and maybe make a little bit of money. My real focus is on the MotoAmerica Superbike races.”
Travis Wyman looking for redemption in Utah for Millennium Technologies/KWR
For the KWR Superstock 600 effort, younger brother Travis Wyman will compete again at Utah Motorsports Campus for the six round of the championship. He finished 6th and 8th in his respective races during the 2015 event, and wants to get back to winning ways.
“I’m looking forward to Utah Motorsports Campus this weekend,” Travis said. “I’m plotting some redemption and it’s going to take race wins to claw my way back into the championship hunt. I’m going to fight hard this weekend for the team and for myself, because we deserve success.”
Tune in Friday and Saturday, June 24-25 for LIVE coverage of the MotoAmerica races on Bein Sports TV, or online with Bein Sports Connect.

It’s Blue Skies Ahead For The Yamaha bLU cRU As MotoAmerica Will Be At Utah Motorsports Campus This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Cypress, CA – June 22, 2016 – In a departure from its usual Thursday through Sunday on-track schedule, the Yamaha bLU cRU road racers will be at Utah Motorsports Campus in Tooele, UT, this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, as the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Motorcycle Road Racing Championship makes its stop in the Salt Lake City area.
With so much on the line in this year’s Championships, the boys in blue can’t wait to get back on track, so racing a day earlier than usual is perfect for them. And they also hope the schedule is perfect for all the fans planning to visit the 3.048-mile, 15-turn Outer Course at Utah Motorsports Campus in the next couple of days.
Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha: Beaubier & Hayes
Defending MotoAmerica Superbike Champion Cameron Beaubier and his teammate, four-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes, are both looking forward to this weekend. Cameron, because he’s currently leading the 2016 MotoAmerica Superbike Championship by 13 points over second-place Josh, and he’ll be racing a lot closer to his home in Roseville, CA. And Josh, because he’s returning to the track where he notched a double win last year, and he’s hoping to do the double in Utah again this year.
With just three rounds and six races left in the season, the Superbike title is still very much up for grabs, and both Cameron and Josh consider Utah to be one of their favorite racetracks on the schedule, with the fast and flowing circuit a perfect venue for their powerful and agile Monster Energy/Graves/Yamaha Factory Racing YZF-R1 Superbikes.
Superbike Superpole (Qualifying) begins on Friday at 2:00 PM MST. Superbike Race 1 will go green on Saturday at 12:30 PM MST, and Superbike Race 2 is later on Sunday at 4:15 PM MST.
Yamaha Extended Service/Graves/Yamaha: Gerloff & Beach
Despite being a rider who hails from Texas, Garrett Gerloff has logged a lot of laps around the Utah Motorsports Campus Outer Course, to the point that he considers it one of his home tracks. Garrett currently leads the 2016 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship by 33 points, but JD earned the pole and won both races in Utah last year. So, which Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha YZF-R6 pilot will get the better of the other one this weekend? They’re good friends off the track, but staunch rivals when their helmets and leathers are on, so it’ll be a showdown that you won’t want to miss in person this Thursday through Saturday.
Supersport Qualifying is Friday at 9:20 AM MST. Supersport Race 1 is scheduled for Saturday at 4:00 PM MST, and Supersport Race 2 will go green on Sunday at 3:15 PM MST.
Meet The Yamaha bLU cRU Road Racers
Cameron, Josh, Garrett, and JD will be available for autographs at their Team Transporters during the Paddock Autograph Signing Presented by Dunlop Motorcycle Tires on Friday from 11:45 AM to 12:30 PM.
The Hot Pit Fan Walk Presented by Dunlop Motorcycle Tires, scheduled for 10:50 to 11:30 AM Sunday on pit lane at Utah Motorsports Campus, is another great opportunity to meet Yamaha’s bLU cRU riders. They will be handing out free, autographed posters and other team items, and you can also get your picture taken with them, as well as with the Monster Energy and Y.E.S. Umbrella Girls.

#RideHVMC Freeman Racing Ducati Prepared For Utah MotoAmerica This Weekend
#RideHVMC Freeman Racing Ducati has been working hard in the weeks since the races at Road America. The team brought the #23 Panigale R to the legendary Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for extensive testing and development work in dry conditions. Significant progress was made by the crew and Corey Alexander in understanding how the Panigale R performs at speed without rain. Next the #RideHVMC Freeman Racing Ducati team moved west to Colorado and worked to fine tune the platform and sharpen the blade a bit further. Everyone agreed after these two tests that the team would arrive at Utah Motorsports Campus far stronger than before.
Corey Alexander has seen great success at Utah in the past, and is looking forward to applying his knowledge on board the #23 Ducati Panigale R this weekend. Commenting on the upcoming event, Corey said “I am really anxious to get back on the bike weekend and see the progress we made with what we learned from testing in the last two weeks. Every time I throw a leg over my #RideHVMC Freeman Racing Ducati Panigale R I learn something, and the team learns something. It has made it tough during race weekends so far, but I know my crew is working just as hard as I am so we can be competitive. It’s only a matter of time, so I’m hopeful for good results this weekend! Thanks to everyone making this possible, and hopefully you all tune in to watch!” Corey’s personal sponsors include: American Kargo, Arai Helmets, Boxed Water Is Better, Defy All Odds Apparel, JP43 Training & STAR School, Lapizta Watches, Outdoor Tech, Spidi Leathers, and XPD Boots.
