Jennings, FL – Jennings GP is pleased to announce that endurance racing is returning for 2013. Last year was a smashing success with 20 teams entered and we hope for the same this year as we have expanded the schedule to include 2 weekends of racing; Oct. 12 and Nov. 23-24. Currently the plan is to have a 2 ½ hr. race for EX/CBR 250’s and also a 4 hr. “Big Bike” race with classes for Lightweight, Mediumweight and Heavyweight bikes (as per WERA rules). The Big Bikes will race on Oct. 12 and Nov. 23. The 250’s will race on those days as well plus a bonus race on Nov. 24 racing the opposite direction! There will be a minimum number of entries required for each race. For all you trackday people out there who have been thinking about giving racing a try, here’s your chance. Although a race license is required, you can come a day early and take the Jennings GP licensing school during the practice days on Oct. 11 or Nov. 22. Existing racers just need to show their current card; all racing organizations will be accepted. The cost will be $200 per team for the 250 race and $400 per team for the Big Bike race. As last year’s racers can attest, we will have an award ceremony and after-party that you won’t want to miss! Please join us for a fun ending to the 2013 season. This is a great opportunity to see if endurance racing is right for you. Please email [email protected] with any questions.
