Jennings, FL- Jennings GP is excited to announce the first “Jennings GP Endurance Race” on 11/24/12. Come burn off all that turkey and enjoy our great fall weather! Endurance racing is the most economical form of motorcycle racing there is and our goal is to give racers a chance to try endurance racing without having to commit to an entire season. Currently the plan is to have a two-hour race for Kawasaki Ninja 250s and Honda CBR250Rs and also a four-hour race with classes for Lightweight, Mediumweight and Heavyweight bikes (as per WERA rules). There will be a minimum number of entries required for each race. We will be using the AMB transponder system; you can bring your own or rent one at the track. For all you trackday people out there who have been thinking about giving racing a try, here’s your chance. Although a race license is required, you can come a day early and take the Jennings GP licensing school on 11/23/12. Existing racers just need to show their current card; all racing organizations will be accepted. The cost will be $200 per team for the 250 race and $400 per team for the 4 hr. race. There will be a cash purse if entries exceed 10 teams. We will also have an award ceremony and after-party that you don’t want to miss! Please join us for a fun ending to the 2012 season. This is a great opportunity to see if endurance racing is right for you. Please contact Travis Richards with any questions. He can be reached by phone at (904) 612-3241 or email at [email protected]
