Via e-mail: I want to let everyone know that I am home from the hospital and am expected to make a full recovery after time. My femur was driven through my pelvis upon landing from a highside exiting turn three (during a CCS race at Daytona International Speedway). The surgeon at Daytona said that he could not repair the damage so I was sent to a miracle man in Orlando. Many thanks to all of you from the motorcycle community who sent their best wishes and my family and friends who pulled the Daytona auction off while I was hospitalized. Jerry Wood
