JOS Motorsports Motorcycle Track Day Series launches its inaugural event and 2012 season opener at Blackhawk Farms Raceway this weekend July 28 – 29 (July 27th – South Beloit, IL) Motovid.com and Blackhawk Farms Raceway welcome JOS Motorsports Track Day Series to the Midwest as a new provider of motorcycle track day weekends available for all midwest motorcyclists. To assist with structure, safety, and provide professional instruction JOS Motorsports partnered with Motovid.com, Blackhawk Farms Raceway Motorcycle Promoter, regional track day and rider clinic provider in its eighth season of operation. Similar to the widely successful Motovid.com All Levels Motorcycle Track Day format, JOS Motorsports events maintain run groups for riders of all levels, novice, intermediate and advance. Riders are assigned to respective groups with riders of similar skills, speed and experience. Each riding group will have assigned coaches from Track Championship Rider Clinics and All Levels Motorcycle Track days circulating to maintain session control and safety. Lunch is included for all participants provided by Blackhawk Farms Raceway concessions partner, Cafe Fastee. Dainese leather suits, boots and gloves are available for rent to all participants thru BFR Pit Store provided by MotoRider for an additional fee and agreement. To assist new riders trying out the track at JOS Motorsports events, the novice group has a special classroom offering in between sessions working with Track Championship Sport Riding 101 instructors. For an additional fee, intermediate, advance riders, club racers interested in professional private one one one instruction, Jason Farrell will offer his private coach program at all JOS Motorsports events. Here is a chance for any track day rider to work privately with an AMA PRO racer and Track Championship Race Academy instructor on their riding personal goals for the entire day. “The JOS Motorsports Track Day Series is really just about having fun on a track with your motorcycle and good people” said John Udell, JOS Motorsports owner. “I saw an opportunity to get involved at BFR, bringing more track time to Midwest enthusiasts and partnered with Motovid.com to make it happen. Everyone is welcome, since we are not a club so there are no secret handshakes or membership fees. To kick off the season, we will have a special welcome party of evening beer and brats on Sat. as a thank you to all participants, please join us ” Udell finished. Trackside service providers partnered with JOS Motorsports Motorcycle Track Day Series to assist participants include: Race Tire Services/Dunlop, Trackside Suspension and Engineering, Farrell Performance, TurnOne Racing, MotoRider Shop, Power-Barn.com, and Zone Photo. “There is never a gate fee and camping is always free at Blackhawk Farms Raceway during track days” said Kathleen Casey, BFR Event Coordinator. “Join us for a new summer motorcycle weekend event with JOS Motorsports at Blackhawk Farms Raceway!”, Casey added.
