Kaleb De Keyrel get cleared by the doctors on his elbow and wrist injuries and will be ready to fight at NJ.
After Kaleb was cleared to ride late this week by the doctors. The De Keyrel Racing team headed to Dakota County Technical College in Rosemount, Minnesota, with Road Closed Promotions. It was just an instructional day on a small road course. Road Closed was nice enough to let Kaleb and Mason come out and get some great corner practice in and for Kaleb to test his elbow. Kaleb started out back to his roots on the Honda NSR 50R. After a couple sessions on that he made the switch with Mason De Keyrel to the KTM RC390 to test it even farther. Kaleb felt great and stated he is ready to fight at New Jersey. It was a great day of corner practice for De Keyrel Racing and the day was capped off with all three brothers being on track together for the first time. Yes even 5 year old Levi De Keyrel got on track for some laps.
Kaleb De Keyrel: “I am looking forward to getting back to racing with the MotoAmerica series. I am going to fight hard to have a great finish at the session finally. I want to show everyone what I can really do. I need to be back up in 5th like the first round of the season.”
Mason De Keyrel: “It was great to get some much needed track time. Looking forward to the NJ round. I have never rode the track there but it looks really fun. I am ready to finish my last race on the 390 strong. Looking forward to my birthday on the 15th and getting on a 600 in the MotoAmerica series. See you at NJ.”
Levi De Keyrel: ” I was a lot of fun being on track with my brothers. Working hard to be the best I can be. “
De Keyrel Racing has been racing since 1984. We have raced everything including motocross, snocross, drag racing(sleds), karting, bmx, downhill GS/SL and road racing. My dad, Don De Keyrel, started it with my brother Alan and me. We would go to the motocross races every weekend as a family. Now, my two sons, Kaleb and Mason are racing and one day we may add my third son, Levi, if he chooses. We started out in motocross when Kaleb was 5 racing locally and nationally.
In 2007, we started working with a ministry at the motocross and road races. In 2009, we went to road racing full time with the CMRA. Our goal was to be a positive and safe family environment in the pits. During the 2009 season, it was amazing to see 15 kids under the De Keyrel Racing endurance team tent. We will continue to race as a family and show other racers that people don’t find GOD after they are famous. They have always had GOD in their life and He is the one who made them famous and to spread His word. GOD BLESS!
